This hobby project began as a means of learning the absolute basics of Blender–but it grew into a means of learning the most complex and difficult aspects of Blender as well.
The cataphract is an incredibly dense character, but designed for lightweight usability. It includes squash and stretch rigging functionality on every bone, custom compositing, high-poly render mesh, low-poly animation mesh, and a default walk cycle animation.
