Tips for bus drawing: Sit facing forward, draw people in profile. Pick fresh riders, otherwise they might get off. Don’t be ashamed if people watch or a drawing sours or somebody notices you drawing them; if that makes you stop you’ll never get enough practice to improve. Draw squiggly texture during bumps. Mass hatch during movement. Zone in on careful details during stops. 90% of bus drawing is getting instincts for this time management. Since you can’t juggle lots of supplies, pare down to a ball point pen.
